Disclaimer Jason W. Baas specializes in civil litigation, including commercial litigation and insurance defense. His practice focuses on the defense of first and third party auto claims and premises and general liability matters. Prior to joining Zausmer, Kaufman, August, Caldwell & Tayler, P.C., he was a member of a Michigan-based civil defense law firm where he gained extensive litigation experience working with some of the nation's largest insurance companies. Mr. Baas has contributed to Michigan Lawyers Weekly insurance section and has presented to, as well as published articles for, insurance clients. He is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is also a member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association and Association of Defense Trial Counsel.
